Leather car seats provide a luxurious look and comfortable feel, but are notoriously difficult to keep clean. Over time a build up of dirt as well as the loss of the leathers essential oils can leave your seats looking dry, cracked and in bad shape.
We’ve put together a short check list of things you can do to help keep your leather car seats in good condition:
- Apply a gentle oil to remove dirt and keep the leather supple.
- Avoid using vinyl cleaners, silicones or petroleum-based solvents as they will leave your leather car seats looking too shiny
- Do not use any lotion based cleaners if you have perforated seats as it will dry white in the holes.
- Regularly vacuum to avoid the build up of dirt.
